After losing his race seat to Loïc Duval part way through the 2014/15 season, Servià became a director at Dragon Racing, a role he would serve in for the next two seasons.
Servià made a name for himself in 1999, when he won the Daytona Indy Lights Championship, moving to the CART Championship for the next three years. Six seasons of Champ Car followed, with Servia claiming a best result of second in the overall standings in 2005. A move to the IndyCar series followed, where Servià stayed until 2013. Servià is also well known for his rally career, which saw him win several titles in his early years.
Formula E History
Servià was named as a driver for Dragon Racing after the final Donington Park test in 2014, having gained valuable experience in the Spark-Renault SRT-01E. His race seat was confirmed after Mike Conway (whom had already been confirmed as a Dragon Racing driver) pulled out prior to the inaugural 2014 Beijing ePrix. A consistent, if not spectacular, point scorer, Servià raced in the first four ePrix of the season, achieving a best finish of seventh in Putrajaya.
Loïc Duval replaced Servià at Dragon Racing at the 2015 Miami ePrix, after the Spaniard was offered to purchase part of the team. Servià became a director in the team, coaching both of the drivers and representing the team in several media events. His driving services were not called upon again as Duval took over the second car for seasons two and three.
